League Update

At it recent AGM, the various clubs that compete in the OWFL agreed to leave Whitefields Farm in Bicester and move to Barton Park in Headington for future seasons. The switch to Barton Park has a number of benefits for OWFL, including the vunue already having the much called for '12 x 6' goals, which the majority of other leagues play with.

It was further agreed that the league's seasons would, in future, align with the traditional football season and run from July to May, with a winter break. To accommodate this, OWFL will run a short 3-month Spring League in 2026, followed by a full season, starting with the FA Walking Football Cup from July 2026.

Because of the league's success over recent years, OWFL has decided to introduce a new 65+ division and the ever popular 60+ division will be split in two, to accommodate all the clubs and teams that now wish to compete in it.
